Utah County First Quarter Home Prices

Just like Salt Lake County and Davis County, homes in Utah County homes are becoming more difficult to sell. The number of homes listed for sale are increasing and the days on market (how long a home takes to sell) is also increasing. In the first quarter 2008, the median home price for five zip codes went down in value, and seven zip codes increased in value. Cedar Hills (down 12.76%), American Fork (down 12.61%), and Salem (down 12.57%) all saw double digit decreases, while the only double digit increase occured in Payson (up 17.04%).

At the end of March 2008 the median home price was $224,850, that's an increase of 3.19%.
