1st Quarter 2015 Home Prices
After showing signs of slowing towards the end of last year, the Salt Lake County real estate market showed some signs of picking up again the first quarter 2015. All three major indicators were positive with the median sales price increasing 4.32% to $256,200, the number of sales increasing 17.68% to 2583 and the time taken to sell a home dropping 21% to 41 days. Some of this improvement can be put down to the mild winter.
The best performing areas were 84103 and 84104 which increased 14.20% and 22.80% respectively. Of those areas that declined in sales price, Holladay 84124 down 17.18% and Sandy 84092 down 18.64% performed the worst.
