3rd Quarter 2014 Home Prices

Utah County home prices continued to climb in the 3rd quarter, with the single family median sales price improving 4.78% to $249,900. Home sales which had been declining, actually saw a slight rise, improving 2.85% to 1551 homes sold. The median days on market climbed 54.17% to 37 days (year on year), but actually saw a slight improvement when compared to last quarter. All in all these were pretty good numbers.

Just 2 zip codes in northern Utah County experienced declines, Alpine 84004 down 3.51% and Spanish Fork 84660 down 4.36%. Of the remaining zip codes that saw appreciation, Salem 84653 increased the most, improving 13.81%.
