Daybreak Utah - North Shore

North Store is the latest addition to Daybreak's much publicized new home development located in South Jordan Utah. It is their third village, the other two being Founders Village and East Lake Village.

This newest village brings about a change in direction from Kennecott Land, with a move towards more high density / affordable homes than seen in the first two villages. There are now far more options for people looking in the $100,000 to $200,000 dollar price range, while still offering large single-family homes and maintenance free homes aimed that those people wishing to downsize. For those people who want to live green, also included in this phase are the Solaris Collection solar powered homes from Garbett Homes.

Daybreak North Shore also welcomes two new builders, Ivory Homes, and Garbett Homes.  

The recently completed 67 acre Oquirrh Lake now has a beach area ideal for children wanting to build sand castles. Also new to North Shore is the Rubicon Road area. This two-block corridor introduces Daybreak’s first town square (called Church Park) and neighborhood retail area. Located next to the town square will be Daybreak’s first interfaith church. The neighborhood retail area is intended for small shops that fit into the character of the area, for example a coffee shop, pizza shop, drycleaners etc.

Brookside Model Home Gallery

In June 2010 Daybreak opened its second model home gallery for Northshore. Named Brookside, this model home gallery features 19 homes from 7 home builders, Rainey, Richmond American, Garbett, Destination Homes, Holmes Homes, and Ivory Homes. The homes range in size from 878 square feet to 6,382 square feet and include three different types of townhomes as well as a variety of single family home collections. Pricing ranges from the $170’s to $500’s.

The major theme for most of the new homes is the incorporation of strategically placed outdoor rooms. These areas allow homeowners the opportunity to extend their living space into the outdoors by creating private open air spaces that can be used nine months out of the year. Covered porches, loggias, interior courtyards, and privacy screens are some of the features incorporated into the home designs.

Also announced is a 15 acre Brookside Park that will be built on the westside of the lake, next to the model home gallery. The park will feature a meandering brook that re-circulates water and carries it into Oquirrh Lake, community gardens, and a frisbee golf course.
