There were a total of 11571 single family home sales which was a slight decease of 1.66% compared to 2013. The time taken to sell homes did increase 50%, but 33 days still represents a good market.
Just 6 zip codes saw their median price decline in the year, with the downtown Salt Lake City area of 84101 performing the worst, with a drop of 17.19%/ The area that experienced the largest gain in 2014 was Copperton 84006, whose median sales price increased 18.92% (albeit on the back of just 12 home sales).
